Moscow clubs/bars???
Any good clubs and bars in Moscow?  Haven't been there for ages and don't remember much from my trips anyway! ; )

Recommendations???  Just list some cool clubs/bars and i'll look them up - maybe check them out when i'm in Moscow. =)

http://www.restoran.ru/msk/detailed/restaurants/duma - очень советую... меня туда сестра сводила, когда я последний раз в Москве был этим летом. Его непросто найти. Публика там правильная. Интерьер просто на 5 баллов. Живая музыка. И цены по московским меркам очень даже хорошие :)

а ты в Лондоне бываешь?

i'm still in spb - just need info on the club scene in Moscow. i'm writing about it - hard to pick out the "diamonds" - too much shit there! ;)

I quite long perform music of the different genres in Moscow (world music in general)... I think, the most popular clubs are Билингва, Китайский летчик Джао-да и Проект ОГИ. These are quite little clubs where "live" music is performed usually. Besides, there are big clubs such as B1, B2, "Апельсин". The concerts of the most popular groups being able to gather much audience take place over there, as a rule.

I can say there are very few clubs with "live" music in the big cities in the regions of Russia. Usualy no more than one or two per city and nowadays they tend to close up or to change into the usual discoteques. Sadly, I've heard the same process goes in Spb too. The reasons are financial and cultural - a "live' concert gathers 50-150 people and a discoteque gathers 300... Most people is quite poor in the russian regions and it's impossible to raise the price for the ticket in order to get any income from the "live" concert. Besides, russians haven't european habit to go to the pubs and clubs in the evening.

Maybe this information could be useful for you :)

unfortunately, not living it up in Moscow but sitting by comp in Spb drinking along to the sound of the rain. writing about the club scene - need some decent recommendations.
